A Peacock System for Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)was introduced to the Hospital in 1999. It is the sole provider of such therapy in Shanghai.

In August 2002, the latest advanced Lekesll Model C Gamma Knife from Elekta Instrument, Sweden into the Hospital, which allows to expand treatment indications, shorten treatment time, decrease complications and further assure patient's safety and treatment accuracy.

It was awarded the title of "Advanced High-tech Enterprise in Shanghai" as the only winner of such award in Shanghai medical system.

With the successful experience of introducing high-tech medical technology into China, the Hospital kept forging ahead.
