1993 APMG opened its first freestanding neurosurgery hospital in Shanghai.
1995 A Gamma Knife center opened in Beijing.
1996 The first "VIP" inpatient unit launched in Beijing.
2003 A new neurosurgery hospital named Beijing Tiantan Puhua Hospital was founded.
2004 Beijing Puhua Outpatient Clinic was opened on November 17, 2004.

Joint Ventures
Joint venture medical
facilities are the mainstay of APMG's business operation. As of today,
APMG operates the following joint ventures in China:
- Shanghai
Gamma Knife Hospital (SGKH) : APMG opened its first joint venture
hospital in November of 1993. SGKH is a joint venture between The
Group and Shanghai Medical University.
- Beijing
Gamma Knife Treatment Center: Established in 1994, it is a joint venture between APMG and Beijing Neurosurgical Institute.
By the end of year 2003, over 6,000 patients have been treated at the Center with favorable results since opening.
- Beijing Tiantan Puhua Hospital:
The 50-bed brain disease hospital, broke ground in August 2003 and scheduled to be opened in December, 2004. It is a joint venture with Chongwen
District Public Health Bureau of Beijing.
- Beijing Puhua Outpatient Clinic:
Located at the business center of Chongwen District of Beijing, it occupied over 30,000 square feet with nationally known medical and surgical specialties to cater for affluent Chinese citizens.
The Grand Opening Ceremonies was held on November 17, 2004.
APMG has also entered into joint ventures with major teaching hospitals in
Beijing, Chongqing and Dalian to operate a network of cardiac interventional centers.
