Established in 1994, Beijing Gamma Knife Treatment Center is a joint venture between APMG and Beijing Neurosurgical Institute under the direct leadership of Dr. Wang Zhong Cheng, the world-famous neurosurgeon and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

By the end of year 2003, over 7,000 patients have been treated at the Center with favorable results since opening. And it has sucessfully treated over 1,000 brain tumors with no complication in the year 2003. The Center has made a fine reputation for itself.

As a result, it has been approved by Beijing Municipal Health Bureau to provide public health care services, which is an exception among medical institutes of the kind in Beijing.
